Abstract

Digitale signal processing plays an important role within sensor systems for i.e. (mobile) communication, radar, radio astronomic etc. A concept that is able to realize multiple run-time functions is a phased array antenna system. One can think of a (multi-dimensional) array system, by way of baseband digital processing on massive data streams of a multi-channel antenna array. This variety of functionality requires support for a broad range of standards, therefore a run-time reconfigurable digital streaming processing concept is needed. Research on digital signal processing is vital for the technological knowlegde within the Netherlands. Topics: · Tiled antenna processing architecture; · Streaming processing; · Flexibility & efficiency; · Run-time dynamic configuration.
