Abstract

Medium chain acyl CoA dehydrogenase (MCAD) deficiency is the most common disorder in mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation. This project contains three perspectives: * A prospective screening of neonates for medium chain acyl CoA dehydrogenase deficiency by tandem mass spectrometry in the Northeastern of The Netherlands * Clinical studies * Animal studies
