Abstract
bullet Abstract DIAMANT is a mathematics cluster in Netherlands recently funded by NWO, OCW and EZ. This is an joint initiative of several institutes in the Netherlands: CWI Amsterdam, Radbout Universiteit Nijmegen, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Universiteit Leiden, Universiteit Utrecht, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. The objective is to create a collaborative structure aiming at excellence in algorithmic research in algebra, discrete mathematics, logic, and number theory, to foster interaction between the participating groups, with as ultimate goal to strengthen and secure the position of the Netherlands in algorithmic discrete mathematics.
