Mission	The School of Human Rights Research aims at promoting disciplinary and multidisciplinary scientific research in the field of human rights. By means of critical analysis and the submission of proposals, based on thorough scientific research, the School wants to contribute to the further implementation and strengthening of the international, regional and national systems of protection of human rights.
Addition	In 2005 is de Onderzoekschool opnieuw hererkend voor een periode van zes jaar (2005-2011). Aan de Onderzoekschool participeren de faculteiten rechtsgeleerdheid van Universiteit Utrecht, Universiteit Maastricht, Universiteit van Tilburg, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam en Universiteit Leiden, de faculteit Letteren van Universiteit Utrecht en het T.M.C. Asser Instituut; het penvoerderschap berust bij eerstgenoemde.
