| Mission |
The main asset of the graduate school GUIDE is the integration of clinical, biomedical and pharmaceutical research, which promotes the education of researchers with a keen eye on the complete spectrum of biomedical research in a unique research and teaching environment: from bed to bench to drugs. The mission of GUIDE is to train and educate excellent researchers and to facilitate and promote excellent research. To achieve these goals, GUIDE provides both a Master program and a PhD program. The research master program is a Topmaster program, named 'Medical and Pharmaceutical Drug Innovation', and aims for the most enthusiastic students who have a drive to become excellent reseachers. Students who enter this program, will receive a scholarship making it possible to live in Groningen. Successful graduates from this Topmaster program subsequently have the opportunity to receive a PhD scholarship for 4 years that allows them to perform research on a topic and in a research group of their choice. On the website you can read more about GUIDE's research institutes and their researchers, and find information and application tools for the Topmaster program. |
